Private Holiday Home in Snowdonia
Originally a stone-built chapel, Hen Gapel has been fully converted to offer a comfortable and secluded holiday home in the picturesque rural valley of Llandecwyn. The house stands in the foothills of the Rhinogydd Mountains with its own land and 7 acre lake.

Remote Rural Location
Hen Gapel is situated at the top of a valley on a no-through, 3 mile singletrack lane. We are remote - perfect for a true rural getaway.

Hen Gapel has four bedrooms (two doubles, one low-ceiling twin room and one bunk room) with comfortable mattresses and pillows.
Fibre Broadband & WiFi
Despite our remote location, we have fibre to the premises with a 100Mb connection.
Private Garden
The house has a mature garden with a private lawn where you can relax, barbeque, eat and play while enjoying the mountian views.
Kitchen & Laundry Utility
The kitchen has a modern induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and all usual kitchen equipment.
Rainy Days
If the weather rolls in, Hen Gapel has a pool table, widescreen smart TVs for streaming services, and bluetooth HiFi to keep you entertained!
Private Lake
The land attached to Hen Gapel contains a beautiful seven acre private lake, perfect for picnics, wild swimming, paddleboarding and trout fishing.
Two lounges
The house has an upstairs and downstrairs lounge - perfect if you can't agree on what to watch on the TV (or the kids want their own space!)

Well behaved pets are welcome subject to prior agreement.

Many of Snowdonia's famous beaches, including Harlech and Black Rock Sands, are only a short drive away.
Hiking & Trail Running
Beautiful mountain walks up into the Rhiniog range, and forest walks down into the Woodland Trust managed Llenyrch temperate rainforest, all from the door.
Canyoning
Spectacular guided canyoning along the Afon Prysor, situated in the beautiful neighbouring Llenyrch woods.
